You can go for the recycled paper board, recycled board with the lamination, and virgin paper board. The virgin paper board is food grade and expensive while the recycled paper board is cheaper. We can increase or decrease the customized cake box price by changing the size, paper type, and quality of the paper board.

In this case it's because of quality difference which incurs cost. Sometimes the vendors outside reduces the unit count from the pack in order to give competitive pricing & it's very difficult to count everything especially if it's a bulk order.
